Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog

I’ve been meaning to tell you about it. Then I forgot. Then they took it off the internet, only available as a download on iTunes, so I couldn’t. Now it’s back online [over at Hulu](http://www.hulu.com/dr-horribles-sing-along-blog) (with modest amount of ads. If it tells you that you can’t see it outside the US, just close the window, it does work), so what are you waiting for?

![This is hosted externally, so if this image does not show up a few decades down the line don’t blame me. It’s just a blue banner with the main cast and the words ‘Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog’](http://www.drhorrible.com/images/banners/banner.gif)

Oh yeah, you have no idea what I’m talking about. Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is an internet comedy supervillain musical about a certain Dr. Horrible, played by a Neil Patrick Harris[^1], struggling with his arch-nemesis Captain Hammer (Nathan Fillion) and trying to get the courage to talk to the girl at the laundromat (Felicia Day. Yes, the one from [the latest Penny-Arcade strip](http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2008/7/28/), in case you were wondering). Made (i.e. produced, co-written and directed) by Joss Whedon, known for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Serenity and other stuff (look, I’m just looking this up on Wikipedia, give me some slack).

It’s the most fun video I’ve ever seen on the internet, professionally done with absolutely great songs and lots of LOL moments. Words cannot describe just how awesome at is; at least my words can’t. Really, go watch it, you won’t be disappointed. Or at least it’s very, very unlikely.

For those of you who are in the US or Canada, you can download it on iTunes using the link on [the show’s homepage](http://www.drhorrible.com/) (notice that there’s no link to the Hulu page from there at the moment), the rest of the world is meant to be coming shortly. A soundtrack and a DVD, with a musical commentary track, are also on the way, i.e. completely irrelevant at the moment.

[^1]: They might be well-known to americans, but I didn’t know any of these actors before. Not that it matters, because they all deliver an amazing performance.

Update

It seems that Hulu is blocking access to this from Germany again. Also, it’s not yet in the german iTunes Music Store, so at the moment there does not seem to be a legal method of watching it here. Sorry.
