Notes
I went to Bonn, via Cologne, yesterday afternoon, and now I have a problem: I have way too many good pictures. As I plan to take even more tomorrow, I’ll probably get horribly behind on my uploading, so I’ve decided to quickly post the best few I got in Cologne central station with reduced commentary.
What is it with most german rail fans and the class 110? Why don’t they focus on, say, the V60 (west) instead? It’s a class that has been longer in service (the oldest locomotives still running for DB are V60s) and, very much unlike the 110, has managed to withstand all attempts to replace it with something new. Or how about HGKs DE 13? Only three locomotives of that class were ever built and the two are out of service due to huge fire damage (separate events), so that class will be gone much sooner.
But no, the masses demand bread, games and 110s, so that’s what I shall provide. Except bread, of course, do I look like a baker to you? (And before you ask, game’s coming along nicely)
