Notes
There are some photographers who are poetic and can find a deeper meaning than just the obvious subject to their pictures. I guess one of them would be able to say something interesting about this reversal of the common saying about the light at the end of the tunnel. Sadly, I’m not one of them, and the closest I can get is old James Bond title songs, which don’t even fit very well here.
Over this bridge lies Aachen West station, and the greenish walkway you can spot near the DB badge is the entry to the passenger part of the station. And by entry, I mean dirty stairs to the stations sole, dirty, platform. Aachen West is not a beautiful station.
I’ll continue with the pictures from Cologne, tomorrow at the latest, but I first had the urge to get this one out of my system.
