Notes
Today I decided to take the train to Heerlen, NL, to take some pictures of dutch trains. And I did!
To the left, a Plan V or Mat ‘64, the standard dutch EMU. Most lines in the Netherlands are electrified, so this old unit can be found in lots of places.
On the right, a VIRM, a double-decker EMU, significantly newer.
