Notes

The Rhaetian Railway (Rhätische Bahn, RhB) in switzerland is one of the best ways of accessing many mountain villages in Graubünden and hence has surprisingly much freight traffic for a narrow-gauge line. The six-axle locomotives of class Ge 6/6II (in Bo’Bo’Bo’ configuration) are not alone and not only responsible for this freight traffic, but it is their main occupation. The use of roll cars (as seen behind locomotive 702) is surprisingly rare, though.
