Notes

Today it snowed a lot in Aachen, so I took the opportunity to take some more pictures of heavy freight diesels in snow, this time at the Gemmenicher Tunnel (which is, by the way, the border between Germany and Belgium), which I had last taken pictures of in summer. Sadly, it wasn’t anything very interesting, just a usual pair of SNCB/NMBS class 55s (although once electric operations start, they’ll probably cease being usual pretty quickly), which pulled a mixed freight train including some Audis which now get their first winter test. They sure took their time as they made their way along the line.
