I was asked to post a close-up shot of the blurred locomotives in the background of Red Streaks. Well, I do try to please.

140 037 has just set itself in front of the locomotive row (yes, despite all indicators looking as if she was to drive away instead), but had apparently no interesting plans there, she was just shut down. The class 140 is the freight version of the class 110, but unlike this, which is getting rare, the 140 and it’s sister, the 139, are still found commonly all over Germany. I have to wonder how long it will stay that way.
