A class 66, probably of DLC although I don’t know for sure, is passing through Aachen Schanz station (which is quite a large word for this thing) on the left track. This is the first time I’ve seen a train on the left track (as seen from the trains point of view) here. The line has signals on both sides, but normally trains tend to stick to the right line, which is standard in Germany.

The right track (left on this picture) was occupied by a commuter train, but it was long gone before this train was finally through. It sure took it’s time.
