Notes
I’ve just returned from a little camera-testing trip. Specifically, I was in Grauhof (mainly a large country estate and some industry a little north of Goslar), at the crossing of the route Hildesheim - Goslar and the abandoned and largely demolished freight line Vienenburg - Grauhof.
The goal was to get a sharp picture of a class 612 DMU tilting, which (especially the sharp part) I hadn’t managed so far yet. This time, the pictures were good, but in fact I like this one even more. The train is driving at track speed (which is also it’s top speed) of 160 kph (100 mph) en route to Goslar, and from there further to Halle (Saale) central station.
