Suggestions for Helicopter
Last time I asked for suggestions for my new game Hubschrauber. Now I recieved a long list that a friend of my sister’s wrote. I won’t quote it fully because it’s so damn long. Main points are more choices, and more interactivity through traffic, fuel consumption and similar aspects.
The list has some points that I had already thought about before, and many that are new for me. All suggestions make sense and I’ll do my best to implement as many as possible. If you have some more suggestions, I’d like to hear them!
In related news, I have made the game fully localised, so that I can easily add new languages. This was not as easy as I had hoped because C++ is a little strange sometimes. Now it’s does what it should and I keep working to make more aspects of the game configurable. At the moment, you can choose whether you want nicer gras effects, and set the difficulty level. My next goal is to make the input system no longer hardcoded.
