Notes
And now something for all those lovers of Einheitslokomotiven (standard locomotives, in particular west german electrics). A class 139 freight electric is running light through Hamburg Harburg station at actually not that high a speed.
I can’t actually straighten this picture without loosing the end of the locomotive, and if you look too closely (don’t do that), you’ll see that it’s not really sharp either. However, I don’t actually care, because it looks rather dramatic and dynamic. What do you think?
By the way, tomorrow I’ll have to prepare for a longer trip that’ll start on sunday. I’ll throw up have a number of pictures from Hamburg that I have already prepared, with description text, for posting. That, however, means that I’ll loose the chronological ordering. I hope you don’t mind.
