Again, a little experimentation: Sure, it’s against the light, but the train is largely black anyway…

Taken in Cologne at the Neumarkt LRV stop, where you can get an interesting low angle by standing on the stairs that lead from the subway part to the tram part. This EMU is a Bombardier Flexity Swift K4000, operating for KVB, and together with the slightly newer K4500 the standard type for the low-entry part of Cologne’s LRV network. This one is so black because it advertises a local book store chain that I’d normally recommend, but they aren’t paying me anything to do so and I think in the current economic climate, I can’t afford to give anything away for free. Me not charging you for looking at this picture is already pushing it.
