Notes
Regional service in Brussels is done by a subway, a tram net, and a pre-metro, which really means trams in tunnels that can probably be converted to subway relatively fast. It’s rather confusing. This bi-directional vehicle, though, is pretty standard and straight-forward. Interestingly, it’s design derives pretty directly from the american PCC tram. Most of the details are changed, up the point where it is articulated, but the basic idea remains the same.
