Notes

Like many smaller countries like Belgium, Switzerland or Great Britain, the Netherlands don’t have a true high-speed system of their own, instead using extensions of their neighbors high-speed lines.

In keeping with tradition, the Netherlands also own several ICE3M (InterCity Express 3 Multiple systems), which feature the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (Netherland’s Railroad) double-arrow. It appears some have recently gotten a slightly updated paint job, but train set 4651 "Amsterdam" still has the classic blue logo.

The trains may be paid for by NS, but they are operated along with all other multiple-system ICEs by DB, and are frequently seen on lines that don’t touch the Netherlands at all. This one, taken in Cologne main station (where else?), however, is indeed headed to Amsterdam.
