I’m standing on Vienenburg station’s footbridge, one of the most ugly bridges the world has ever seen, but great for taking pictures of trains pulling into the station.

In the days of old, I used to hate those huge lamp posts you see on the left because they were in the way of a lot of good pictures. Not any longer. Now that I’ve moved, I’ve found that electrification deserves far more of my hate.
