Landquart is the most important station of the Rhätische Bahn (RhB), itself the most important narrow gauge railroad in Switzerland and more or less the only railroad in the canton of Graubünden. Locomotive 601 is a Ge 4/4I and hence one of the older ones still in service of RhB. Still, they are seen every day in normal service.
