Soma had just started a picture series about his daily commute to his university, and he’s asking us all to do alike. I’d like to, but my commute is done either by boring bus or on foot, so I don’t have much. However, I can easily show a generic commuter train.
This Stadler FLIRT, owned by SBB, is used for the commuter train network of Zug (a town name that translates to ‘Train’), which forms a single network together with that of Lucerne. Here, it is seen standing in Lucerne central, waiting for the time to depart towards Brunnen (another town whose name translates to ‘Well’).
