Notes
Again, Oker station. This yellow construct in front is used to measure whether a car and it’s load fit within the loading gauge. You can turn either side towards the tracks, and if the car doesn’t fit through, it’s freight has to be adjusted. As you can see, this system can check for two different gauges. I’m not certain which ones is used where, but practically all such constructs in Germany look this way. I guess most other countries have similar constructions.
