I’m not done sorting through the pictures from yesterday yet, but after seeing Not a Toy by classictrains, I thought I’d post this older one first.
The railway preservation society that sits in Vienenburg did, for a long time, have exactly one working locomotive that was qualified for mainline: This Köf II (later renumbered as class 323). It’s not much use with touristic trains, but here it was used on switching duty in Vienenburg station. With a total of three cars, it has just about reached it’s peak capacity here.
