Notes
I promised yesterday to post a picture or two on that evening, and most of them today. That obviously failed. To quote John Connor in the tragically way too short TV series: Good code is like a good song in your head, it’s got to come out. In other words, I worked more on my railroad simulator. A blog post for that shall happen later on (as in not before tomorrow), as I don’t have any impressive screenshots yet. However, I do have switches fully working. The only issue is that to change their direction, I have to manually fiddle with my programs RAM contents in the debugger.
Moving on to the actual picture: Looking at the map, you’d think it’s a short way from Solingen-Scharberg station (right next to the bridge) down to the valley, to a spot where you can get a good view. I certainly thought so, and I was rather wrong. It’s a hike of more than half an hour. In good weather, like I had, however, it’s well worth it, as you can get lots of nice views of the bridge. This is an example of that.
