Notes
Belgien holds, like Great Britain, on to the belief that you have to be able to walk between coupled EMUs, and for that matter that they should have some yellow in the front. However, they are way more serious about it. This train is based on the famous danish “rubbernose” IC3 trains, and like those, you can fold away the entire cab and have a full-width walkway between two or more coupled vehicles. In general, you can find these trains in all kinds of services, but mainly in higher-class services such as Interregio (which still exists in Belgium) and Intercity.
